We have a history steeped in farming. Our love for farming goes back many generations to the high plains of western Kansas. All the way from the days of the Dust Bowl to now, farming has been woven into the fabric of our lives. In the early 1990s, we ventured out from traditional crops and added a small sweet corn plot to the farm. Each year, we had more than we could eat for ourselves, so we let our friends and neighbors pick some too. Eventually, we started planting extra just so we could share the goodness of fresh sweet corn with everyone else! In 2002, we made a major life change. We sold the farm in Kansas, packed everything up, and made the move to our current location in the river bottoms near Bradley, Arkansas. Here, we continued the farming tradition. We began taking our sweet corn to local farmers markets, selling at roadside locations and selling direct from the farm, all with varied levels of success. Around 2010, we started to gain some traction at the Shreveport Farmers Market. Often a long line had already formed by the time the opening bell rang! Many times throughout the day, we would here the question, "Can I come out to the farm?". And the answer to that is always, "YES!! We would love to see you at the farm!". Now we are 100% direct from the farm sales. While corn is what we built our business on, we love to grow anything! Over the years, we have added many different vegetables to our selection! Most notably, purple hull peas and watermelons. Thank you for stopping by and checking us out! We look forward to fulfilling your produce needs in the future. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at anytime!

Our main season runs from mid-June to late July, with our watermelon crop occasionally extending into August.
